Long ago a young man perhaps tried of the capital decided to go live on Mt. Higashi :

"No more can i live -
Now is the point of no return:
In some mountain home
must i hide myself away,
now begins the quest!"
In this state he became terribly sick, and when it seemed thaT he was almost dead someone splased his face with water. As he began to breathe again he recited:
"Over my body
a blanket of dew is spread:
Has it dropped from oars
of boats crossing the threshold
to heaven's starry river?"
And thus he came back to life.

Long ago a young man when he had traveled as far as Tsukushi heard someone say from behind a bamboo screen, "This is the one supposed to be such a great man with the ladies!"
"Certain it is fact
any man who goes across
River of Dye
will find his reputation
coloured with its lusty hue!"
The woman replied
"With no grain of salt
must we take its very name
Island of Deceit :
Truly you wear a garment drenched in its peppery waves!"

So where that luster now in the past that is so beauteous?(referring to us)
flowering cheery
only the bare trunk remains
stripped of its flowers and branches.

Or

Can it really be
though you fled to escape me
you have spent your stay
in this same Meeting Province
Have we not grown wiser yet ?

Long ago a young man. Incredulous as to where she might be from, recited to a woman who was not sharing his intimacies even in the privacy of letters the poem:

"Could i make myself
like the beautiful wind that
gently blows
at your bamboo blind
Through its loosely woven chinks
might we enter you.

In reply :
Through there be a wind
which i cannot hold in check
at my bamboo blind
Who has deigned to give it leave
that it should seek my chamber?

It is dufficult to understand read carefully every poem and change it with the past our class have. ------ here . Remember read carefully and change it with the memories of our past well most of you don care . But i think this the last time i will be blogging hahaha! well till here .. byebye.
